2008 Soul Colors Desk Calendars
"Wow! It's like a little bit of therapy that fits in the palm of your hand," said one enthusiastic buyer when she picked up one of these nifty little calendars, created specifically for our KaleidoSoul readers.
Each month features a full-color, vibrant mixed media collage by Anne Marie Bennett, along with a quotation carefully chosen to lift your spirits and remind you of your own soul's true colors. The calendar is spiral bound this year, so it's easier to manage, and is printed on heavy, glossy cardstock, similar to (and the same size as) postcards.
On the back of each page are several Journaling Prompts as well as a few SoulCollage Suggestions, specially designed to help you bring the wisdom of the month's quotation into your daily life.

Please join us for a fun hour of worldwide connections! We'll spend half of our time together discussing the art and practice of SoulCollage (card making and incorporating SoulCollage into your everyday life), so bring your questions, and be ready for a wonderful sharing session.The other half of this tele-class we'll talk you through a SoulCollage card reading. If you've never done one before, this will be an ideal time to try it out. If you have done a Reading with your deck, you'll enjoy asking another question of your cards and discovering the answers that already lie within you. If you don't have many (or any!) cards in your deck yet, just bring a bunch of your magazine images with you to the call. Due to the possible sensitive nature of sharing our SoulCollage Readings with one another, we will NOT be recording this tele-playshop. Date: Wednesday November 7, 2007

Ten Zen Seconds, by Eric Maisel. This is the famous Creativity Coach's latest book, and it's a jewel. I am reading it very slowly and it's changing the way that I breathe, and the way that I "do" my life. Highly, highly recommended!
Welcome to the Great Mysterious, by Lorna Landvik. Delightful novel about a self-centered Broadway diva who spends a month in the Midwest caring for her 13 year old Downs Syndrome nephew while her sister and brother-in-law get away for a much needed vacation. It will make you laugh and maybe even shed a tear. A central part of the story is "The Great Mysterious," a handmade book that the sisters created when they were 11, which is full of Questions about the mystery of life, and the answers from their various extended family members. I am thinking of creating my own "Great Mysterious" book and passing it around the table this month at Thanksgiving! Recommended by Kindred Spirit Lisa in NC. Transformation Soup, by SARK. This book is an excellent example of SARK's blend of women's wisdom, humour, creativity, color, and joy. A perfect way to celebrate personal transformations and let go of all that's been weighing you down. Original price $16.00. Now $5.99 at All Books 4 Less. The Other Way To Listen, by Byrd Baylor. An old man shows a young girl "the other way to listen" in this delightful children's book that has universal truth and messages for all of us. This old man can hear wildflower seeds bursting open, rocks murmuring to one another, and the hills singing. The young girl wants to learn how to listen like this as well, and he begins to teach her. I wonder what would happen if we all listened in this "other way."
Music:
Zen Peace, by Aeoliah. I love everything by this group. It's soothing and ethereal and uplifting all at once. All of their albums are simply beautiful. .  Don't forget to check out CDBaby.com, a great place to buy cd's. Their New Age section is a must for all serious SoulCollagers! Their customer service is unsurpassed and they stock cd's from over 158,000 artists. Great selections, great prices, friendly people, and a good deal on shipping. What more could you want?

Dreaming in Color- This is one of the most beautiful (non-SoulCollage!) decks I've ever seen. And the site is beautiful too. The deck is called a Luman Deck, taken from the Latin words for "Light" (Lumen) and "Angel" (Angelus).
Yoga and Chocolate- Ok, you probably think I'm off my rocker now! But what a great combination, I think!  Comfort Queen- Pop on over to the colorful, creative site of best-selling author Jennifer Louden (that's my SoulCollage to honor her on the right). You will indeed be comforted by the wide array of tools and resources for anyone interested in self-care of the sweetest kind!
