The word Kaleidoscope literally means viewing beautiful forms. To paraphrase Seena Frost, SoulCollage® is like taking a kaleidoscope full of all the bits and pieces of your life, holding it up to the light, and there, falling into place are the unique patterns and the amazing beauties of your life's story.

What is this thing called SoulCollage?
This delightful, introspective craft is many other things as well:- It is a most unique blend of art (the fun of collage) and soul (spiritual practice). There is nothing like it anywhere else!
- It is total creative fun and enjoyment, yet it is also a deepening, healing, process that takes us on an inward journey of discovery and delight.
- *It's a way to heal our inner separations. Each card represents a separate energy or voice that has something to say about our life's journey. It is only by listening to, honoring, and naming each voice
that we become whole. - It has a social side (creating and interpreting cards in small groups) but it also can be a powerful tool to use for individual reverie and self-reflection.
There are 3 parts to the SoulCollage® process:
- creating the individual cards in our own unique deck
- getting to know ourselves by honoring and listening to each of our inner voices
- using the deck of cards to access our inner wisdom throughout our life's journey

Universal Aspects of SoulCollage
It's A Process
SoulCollage is a
creative process
wherein we make something unique, something that never existed before. It is an
imaginative process
that takes us to those "inner worlds" we seldom take the time to explore. And it is an
intuitive process
that encourages us to activate our innate intuition as we spend time listening to our deepest self.
It's An Art
This process/craft attracts both professional and nonprofessional artists as well as those of us who would never call ourselves an "artist" in a million years. So even if you don't think of yourself as an artist, that's okay.
When you are immersed in the process of creating your cards, you are an artist and it won't be long before you are more comfortable defining a part of yourself in this way.
When making and interpreting our cards, we are relased from the expectation of being "good" or creating something that someone will want to buy or hang in their gallery, because that is not its purpose. The purpose of each card is for YOU and YOU alone! It doesn't really matter if your best friend or your mother or the art dealer down the street understand your cards or even like them. What matters is that YOU understand them and like them, because each one expresses a unique part of YOUR being.

It is also a form of spiritual art. There are many kinds of spiritual art as well.
It can also be used as a form of art therapy.
It's A Tool
The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines a tool as: a)something necessary in the practice of a vocation or profession; and b)a means to an end. In this context, we can think of SoulCollage® as something we use that is necessary for healing, for moving forward on our individual spiritual journeys, and as a guide to finding our most authentic self.
There are many levels of healing (spiritual, emotional, and physical) that take place as we make our cards and continue to grow with the process.
Each of us is on our own spiritual life journey and we can make the journey smoother and more joyful (not necessarily easier!) by practicing SoulCollage®.
