We all have the extraordinary
coded within us, waiting to be released. --- Jean Houston  Inner Journeys with Anne Marie Bennett Integrating the Practice of SoulCollage? Into Our Daily Lives The Extraordinary Coded Within  According to my online thesaurus, here are some adjectives for the word extraordinary:
amazing, astounding, bewildering, breathtaking, impressive, marvelous, miraculous, spectacular, staggering, startling, striking, stunning, stupefying, stupendous, wonderful, wondrous.
And according to the above quotation from Jean Houston (who was one of Seena Frost's teachers!) we ALL have this amazing, extraordinary, astonishing, spectacular, stunning, wondrous something deep inside of us. It is coded within us, she says, waiting to be set free. When I think of the word "coded," I think of DNA which is deeply embedded in my being, and over which I have no control. So I think of this unique extraordinariness inside of me as the same: deeply embedded in my soul, unchangeable, simply there. It's no coincidence that there is an image of a butterfly here with this column. It is here to remind us of the remarkable transformation that is possible IF ONLY we will take notice of our inner goings-on, IF ONLY we will sit still with ourselves long enough to see this extraordinary soul gift that is ours and ours alone. At first glance, butterflies seem pretty much all alike. If you live in an area where they are plentiful, perhaps you don't even pay much attention to a butterfly when it crosses your path. But I say (and Jean Houston says!) that every butterfly is unique, a miracle on this earth, extraordinary. And so are YOU! Imagine what would happen if the caterpillar refused to spin its cocoon, denied the power inherent in the transformation of its furry wormy body into a bright and beautiful butterfly. Impossible! That caterpillar, that extraordinary caterpillar has no power to refuse the revealing of its deepest essence, which is Butterfly.

bring you closer to the truth of your own extraordinary being.
