Soul Friends The Voice of a Different Kindred Spirit Each Week  Barbara Cimino Baltimore, Maryland Hi my name is Barb and I'm a massage therapist by trade, but I always enjoyed painting and collage for fun. A friend of mine once asked me to share my collages at our church in a womens' workshop. I was preparing for this workshop when I saw an ad for a SoulCollage® workshop. I decided to sign up, and drove to Pennsylvania. The workshop was facilitated by Amy Isaacs. For me, it was life-changing. I made three SoulCollage® cards that day. I have made over 50 cards so far. Making SoulCollage® cards has been an emotional and spiritual outlet to better understand myself and to process the events of my life. While making cards intuitively I have had many Aha moments! Last October I took the Facilitator training and met Seena Frost. She is a delightful and fun person. Also I met Anne Marie Bennett, creator of KaleidoSoul. I have gotten so much inspiration from the weekly and monthly e-mails I receive. When I hit a dry time, Kaleidosoul keep me going. Thanks Anne Marie! In my own Deck, I added a suit for Prayers and Inspiration. When I take time to do a Reading with my Deck, I choose one card from each suit. Many times when I am doing a reading, the card from my Prayers Suit seems to bring all the other cards together into a clear message. What a gift SoulCollage® is to me. Thank you Seena and all you soul friends that keep spreading the message around the world! Here are two of my current favorite SoulCollage® cards:  Divine MotherCouncil Suit I am the one who finds a peaceful purpose in my Motherhood. I am the one who is compassionate and patient with life. I am the one who is living fully in the moment. I am the one who loves my children more than life. I am the Divine Mother. After I made this collage the words that came to me were. I saw the Spirit coming down on her from the heavens like a dove. And a voice spoke form the heavens. "This is my beloved daughter, my soul's delight." And so it is.  Fourth Chakra Bears Companions Suit I am the open heart Chakra. I protect and love the child parts of myself and others. I am giving and receiving in a balanced way. I am in harmony and can cope with loss. Touch is important to me.  SoulCollage®

Upcoming Tele-Classes and Presenters: February 2010 - Eye of the Hawk SoulCollage® Reading, with Mili Ballard, SoulCollage® Facilitator & Facilitator Trainer in North Carolina. Mili will share a brief description of the transpersonal map of the psyche that includes the biographical, perinatal, and transpersonal levels of consciousness. Founded on the work of Stanislav Grof, transpersonal psychology purports that for sustainable healing to occur, all three levels of the psyche must be touched within the transformative process. Mili will guide us through an "Eye of the Hawk" reading that incorporates these concepts to potentially expand our awareness, consciousness, and personal healing/growth via our own SoulCollage® decks. Mili Ballard has been a SoulCollage® facilitator since May 2005 and a SoulCollage® facilitator trainer since February 2007. Mili is a training consultant within business and industry and also focuses on assisting individuals involved in their own processes of personal transformation. Mili and her life partner Johnny Dillard, also a trained SoulCollage® facilitator, co-lead "Just" Blank Cards, their private practice focusing on using the communicative power of images to enhance relationships with self and others.
