2008 Soul Colors Desk Calendars

"Wow! It's like a little bit of therapy that fits in the palm of your hand," said one enthusiastic buyer when she picked up one of these nifty little calendars, created specifically for our KaleidoSoul readers.

Each month features a full-color, vibrant mixed media collage by Anne Marie Bennett, along with a quotation carefully chosen to lift your spirits and remind you of your own soul's true colors. The calendar is spiral bound this year, so it's easier to manage, and is printed on heavy, glossy cardstock, similar to (and the same size as) postcards.

On the back of each page are several Journaling Prompts as well as a few SoulCollage Suggestions, specially designed to help you bring the wisdom of the month's quotation into your daily life.

They make great gifts for people who don't practice SoulCollage too. Anyone who loves color and quotations and inner journeys will love this calendar.

Mythologems, by James Hollis. Very powerful book that fits in exactly with our SoulCollage work. Explores the work of Carl Jung in relation to how images touch and affect our lives. Recommended by Kindred SpiritLorraine inBritish Columbia,Canada.

Words of Gratitude for Mind, Body, and Soul, by Joanna Hill and Robert Emmons. Beautiful book that offers words of encouragement and guidance, proverbs, and prayers, interspersed with highlights of recent psychological research measuring the effects of gratitude on our everyday lives.

Movies:

Lions for Lambs, directed by Robert Redford, featuring Meryl Streep, Tom Cruise and Robert Redford. A brilliant, compassionate and creative statement about the war in Iraq. In American theatres now.

Websites:

Woman Made Gallery- A tax-exempt, not for profit organization founded in 1992. Its goal is to support women in the arts by providing opportunities, awareness and advocacy. It specifically accomplishes this through monthly themeatic exhibitions which raise public awareness and recognition of women's cultural contributions.

Vintage Photos- Fr*ee Printables for you to use in your art, all images are copyright free, and in the public domain. See if any of these need a home on one of your SoulCollage cards.
