Books:
How to Be Creative If You Never Thought You Could, by Tera Leigh. This is a project book with a lesson in creativity in every chapter. The author gives alternative ways to finish each project and encourages experimentation. Tera has two other books and is a creativity coach. She also publishes Tera's Wish -- an email newsletter on creativity. You'll definitely get some new ideas out of this book!
FirstLight, by Sue Monk Kidd. A collection of her earlier inspirational writings. If you've enjoyed Kidd's recent bestsellers The Secret Life of Bees (a wonderful novel about feminine spirituality, soon to be a movie starring Dakota Fanning) and The Dance of the Dissident Daughter (a nonfiction book on the author's spiritual journey from traditional religion to a more liberating feminine spirituality) to you will thoroughly enjoy this new book.
Movies:
A Prairie Home Companion, starring Garrison Keillor, Meryl Streep, Lily Tomlin, Kevin Kline, Virgina Madsen. - "...a witty and wonderful meditation on one of the great mysteries of life- the impermanence of all things. - Spirituality and Health Magazine" We rented this last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The story revolves around the final live-audience taping of the popular radio show of the same name. The music is heartfelt, the dialog is clever, and there's an intriguing plot involving a beautiful angel (played by Madsen). If you love the radio show, you will love the movie too!
Music:
Songs for the Inner Child, by Shaina Noll. There's a song I play at the beginning of all my Introduction to SoulCollage Workshops. It's called Return Again, and it's on this wonderful CD that is full of many songs that will appeal to your inner child, as well as your inner mother, and many more of your inner committee members. This link (and the link above)takes you to the CDBaby.com site which is the best site ever to buy CD's from. Their customer service is awesome, their shipping prices are less than Amazon's, you can listen to samples before you buy, PLUS.... they're a big company with a great sense of humor and an excellent attitude toward their customers. All you have to do is buy there once and you'll see what I mean!

The Breast Cancer Site- Click on the Fund Free Mammograms button every day if you can, to give hope to women in need! Site sponsors make a donation for every click, towards funding free mammograms to women who don't have health insurance.
The Fine Art of Feelings- this is a sculpture gallery... do any of the images here inspire a SoulCollage card or two? You might even want to print one of the images out and use it on a card
