This fun, insightful tele-playshop (not quite a class, not quite a workshop!) will help you to see archetypes in a whole new light. We'll talk about the importance of the Council Suit in our SoulCollage deck, and the power of identifying archetypes and spirit guides (including angels) in our lives today. Anne Marie will lead a guided visualization where you will meet one of your archetypes and/or Spirit guides. As a direct result of this class, you'll gain ideas for and be inspired to start creating more cards for the Council Suit of your SoulCollage deck.

No charge for members (that's YOU!).

Soul Nourishment
Books, movies, music, & websites to support your inner work as you dive deeper into your soul....

Books:

The Exquisite Risk, by Mark Nepo. Excellent book of thought-provoking essays on how to live an authentic life. I've just started this one, and am thoroughly entranced. I am savoring Nepo's words and ideas like a fine after-dinner wine, just a few sips at a time. This book is continually reminding me of what the essence of SoulCollage is all about- getting to know, accept, and love ourselves more fully in order to live our lives with graceful authenticity.

List Your Self, by Ilene Segalove and Paul Bob Velick. Subtitled: Listmaking as the Way to Personal Discovery, this book is 290 pages of ideas for lists you can make that will help you on the road to getting to know yourself in an authentic way. If you ever finding yourself unsure of what SoulCollage cards to make next, just spend a few minutes doing some of the suggested lists and you'll be on your way to SoulCollage heaven! They have also written More List Your Self, and List Your Creative Self. All are xcellent resources for any SoulCollager's bookshelf.

Movies:

Little Miss Sunshine, starring Greg Kinnear, Toni Collette, Alan Arkin, Steve Carell. It's not out on DVD yet, so run to the nearest movie theatre and see this one! It puts a whole new spin on the theme of winners and losers. And also on the idea of family. Before you go, have a soul-full think about what makes a winner a winner, what makes a loser a loser, and what makes a family a family. This movie has layer upon layer of answers to all three of these huge questions, but it doesn't preach... it just gently (and with much laughter along the way) leads you to your own conclusions. I can almost guarantee that you will see your inner self in a whole new light after you watch Little Miss Sunshine. (And if you don't get to see it while it's in theatres now, don't worry.... I loved it so much I'm going to mention it again when it comes out on DVD!)

Websites:

Getty Images- Here is a great site for when you're creating a SoulCollage card intentionally and are looking for just the right image to convey a feeling, or when you're making a card for Great Aunt Sue and you need a picture of a big green mixing bowl that she was forever using. Well, you get the idea. You need to have something in mind when you're searching for images here. Just type a word/phrase into the search box, and be sure that ROYALTY-FREE is the only box checked underneath it (this way you won't have to pay for any images you find that you like!).

Life First- This site has a wonderful series of articles dedicated to health, wellness, exercise, fitness, personal development, self-improvement, life-work balance, and more.

May You Be Blessed- Click on this site when you need a 3 minute refreshment break in the middle of a stressful or blah day. I have saved it on my desktop so I remember to absorb its simple beauty at least once a day!
