This tele-playshop will give us a chance to listen to our often-despised Inner Critics in a safe and enjoyable setting.  Find out where your Inner Critic came from and learn some of his/her strategies for keeping you small and miserable.  Then... we'll also discover how our Inner Critics can help us, in spite of the bad rap they've gotten in our inner lives.  If you have an inner critic card, please post it to the Inner Critic Photo Album on the KaleidoSoul Yahoo Community Group.

Just Be...Connected, A Gathering for Creative Bloggers.  October 12-14, 2007 inHyannis (Cape Cod), MA.  Anne Marie will be teaching two SoulCollage workshops, plus there are many more creative, art-full workshops that you can sign up for this weekend.  You don't need to have a blog to attend, but lots of creative bloggers will be leading the workshops you'll be taking.  There's lots more info at the Just Be Connected website.

The Prayer Cycle, A Choral Symphony in Nine Movements, by by Jonathan Elias.  I play this CD over and over as I work (play!) at my art table.  Listen to what this reviewer had to say (because I can't say it any better than this): It is with primitive urgency and lustrous clarity rising like flickering embers from a fire that Jonathan Elias's ambitious Prayer Cycle is given voice. Movies:

Miss Potter, starring Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor.  This is the biographical story of the life of Beatrix Potter, but it's so much more than that.  Beatrix Potter was a woman ahead of her time- unmarried and living with her parents, she ignored convention and focused on her art, her imagination, and her childrens' books.  It's also a beautiful love story, and the tale of a woman coming into her own.
