Movies:
The Scent of GreenPapaya- by Vietnamese writer and director Tran Anh Hung. One of the best films ever made about thespiritual practice of attention. Thestory opens inSaigon in 1951 as Mui, a 10year old servant girl, comes to work for a merchant family. She has already mastered the art ofapproaching the world with mindfulness. Later, as a young woman, Mui takes her attentive service into the homeof a young composer, where it yields intimacy and eventually love. ---fromSpiritual Rx, Prescriptions for Living a Meaningful Life, by Frederic and MaryAnn Brussat
