We each have experience and deep memories of being daughters.
Some of us have traveled the road of being a mother and whether we are mothers or not, we have each found ways to care for others in our life-time.
On our life-journey, we often explore the themes of how to mother ourselves, how to return from the deep, how to grieve and how to move into wisdom.
Through the resonate myth-journey of Demeter, Persephone and Hecate, facilitator Cat Meehan Caracelo, with her daughter Darcy Meehan Lubow, will lead a deep exploration into rebirthing the divine within ourselves.
We’ll explore the complex journey of our many life stages and connections with self and other, a journey of balance and renewal.
Regardless of our age or the life- cycle we are currently in, we each carry the energy of the girl child, the maiden, the woman, the crone. These aspects of self remain in us throughout our life, and they are each realized in many different ways through the relationships that we have had and influences of our many experiences.

What’s SoulCollage® Got To Do With It?
Loss & Grief, by Cat
You will create SoulCollage® cards, or other mixed media art, working with your personal own experiences and myth-work through an intuitive discovery process. You will be offered a weekly framework through an e-book, weekly tele-classes, a private yahoo group, weekly art invitations, supportive materials, creative ideas and possibilities to explore. You may be inspired to incorporate SoulCollage® cards or art you may have already created in order to support and explore your process more deeply – you may wish to begin gathering things to you that seem to be meaningful right now or things that seem to be ”asking” to be part of this process.
The classes and the e-book use SoulCollage® and many creative examples, to help you develop new ideas, and more deeply understand yourself as you create pathways that lead you into compassion. Each step of this journey, your images, writing and creative process, will lead you in deepening your inner discovery, revealing connections and new understanding of your experiences, creating pathways and finding guidance that will support your needs and life unfolding, in unexpected ways.
Each class will also support you in mining your own life experience as a narrative process, allowing you to explore how your stories (present and past experiences) hold patterns that influence, weave, blend and intersect. We will have some time to explore which of these patterns are helpful, and how shadow experience and self-judgment may be explored. These will be useful reflections as you move further into compassion.
We will be working with many visual and verbal examples, inspirational readings, journaling prompts and guided meditations that support discovery and the creative process. The community tele-calls and online group offer the opportunity to share about your life, unfolding art, ask questions and discuss your process, explore ideas, writing and images – divining the hidden places, deep understanding and synchronicities that follows this type of engagement.

CAT MEEHAN CARACELO is a certified Life Coach and teaching artist working in the field of transformative arts. A Masters of Arts candidate and SoulCollage® Facilitator, Cat works with individuals and groups to explore aspects of life, transition, healing and desire, though expressive art workshops and individual coaching.
Cat has a passion for exploring the “landscape of the psyche” through deep journey work, and has developed a series of workshops including Stringing Stories: A Mythos Process and Personal Myth, Fairytale and Mythos, for studio workshop, distance format and university courses.
Exploring personal mythology through process, art and narrative is a valuable and deeply meaningful experience that supports healing, vision and personal growth.
