SoulCollage exercise I am the one who... Example #1 Permission to Rest (Committee Suit)

Who are you?
I am the one who enjoys laying around, doing nothing.
I am the one who enjoys resting.
I am the one who knows when to rest.
I am the one who can sit for hours and do nothing.
I am the one who rests with abandon.
I am the one who enjoys the pleasures of rest.
What do you have to give me?
I gve you the knowledge that resting is ok.
I give you time and wisdom to know when to rest.
I give you pleasure when you rest.
I give you permission to rest.
What do you want from me?
I want you to rest when you're tired, and to enjoy resting.
I want you to not feel bad or guilty when you choose to rest.
I want you to take pleasure in resting, in doing nothing.
I want you to know it's a blessing to rest, a necessity, a blessed necessity.
I want you to stop thinking that you have to always be DOING something and focus instead on BEING.
Is there anything else you'd like to say to me?
Just to remind you to sit on the front porch once in a while and watch the clouds go by. Or to let Sasha sit on your lap tonight while you read a book. There are many ways of resting.
How will I remember?
You will remember when you see this card, when you see the clouds in the sky, when you see a curtain rippling in the breeze.
