Asking For What I Need
In the spirit of asking for what I need, I have created “Anne Marie’s Healing Fund.”
The bills from the tests and procedures and surgery this summer are now starting to come in, and my insurance is covering a good percentage of it, but unfortunately not all of it.
Also, my income from KaleidoSoul is decreasing a bit this fall as I’ve had to cancel a Facilitator Training and several workshops.
I have created a separate bank account and
earmarked the money from this fund for:
- hospital bills that my insurance doesn’t cover (www.lahey.org)
- follow-up visits to my Naturopathic M.D. Dr. James Belanger
- follow-up blood tests that are being order monthly by Dr. B, and are not covered by insurance
- daily supplements that are part of my Treatment Plan with Dr. B. I am happy to email you more details about these if you’d like (use the “contact” button at the top of the screen)
- other expenses that seem to be mounting incrementally- the wig I’ll wear, the prescriptions that I need to fill to take before and after and during my chemo treatments
Offering what I Can
To anyone who donates to my Healing Fund, I will (at some point, and probably not right away) send a handwritten thank you on one of my own handmade note cards.
Also, I can offer my deepest gratitude for being linked to each of you on my life’s journey. The lessons I am learning on this second cancer adventure are heightened and deepened because of each of YOU.
